Who really benefits from the Prison Industrial Complex? According to the 13th amendment, you can be enslaved or be subjected to involuntary servitude. Who, historically, were the enslaved? Who, historically were in servitude? Think About It!! Because Queen Ifama will BE talking about it!!
The peonage research of Antoinette Harrell, however, tells us that for many thousands of African-Americans, the freedom bell never rang. In fact, the freedom bell didn’t ring in sixteen states and twenty-seven counties in Mississippi — even into the 1970’s. Slavery had given birth to a new form of involuntary servitude: peonage. And this new form of slavery trapped not only thousands of African-Americans, but poor Native Americans, poor Latinos, and poor Whites, as well. 2PM EDT April 7,2010 Atlantic Shores Hospital We Will Be Talking About How To Help Loved Ones Who Don't Want Help. It's Called The Marchman Act .. Atlantic Shores provides acute inpatient treatment for a wide variety of psychiatric disorders and chemical dependencies in a safe, secure and nurturing environment for adults 18 and up. This curriculum-based program is designed to address elements and behaviors common to those challenged by substance abuse and/or mental health issues. What is a Marchman Act? A Marchman Act is a means of providing an individual in need of substance abuse services with emergency services and temporary detention for substance abuse evaluation and treatment when required, either on a voluntary or involuntary basis. * How are voluntary and involuntary Marchman Act admissions different? A voluntary admission is when a person who wishes to enter treatment for substance abuse applies to a service provider for voluntary admission. An involuntary admission is when there is good faith reason to believe the person is substance abuse impaired and, because of such impairment, has lost the power of self control with respect to substance use; and either has inflicted, attempted or threatened to inflict, or unless admitted, is likely to inflict physical harm on himself/herself or another; or the person's judgment has been so impaired because of substance abuse that he/she is incapable of appreciating the need for substance abuse services and of making a rational decision in regard to substance abuse services.Contact Atlantic Shores Hospital For More Information: Atlantic Shores Hospital 4545 North Federal Highway Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33308 Calvin Smith 786-355-3581 Direct Line

It was not until 1962 that all slavery practice or trafficking in Saudi Arabia was prohibited, BUT NOT ABOLISHED! According to the U.S. State Department: Saudi Arabia is a destination for men and women from South and East Asia and East Africa trafficked for the purpose of labor exploitation, and for children from Yemen, Afghanistan, and Africa trafficking for forced begging. Hundreds of thousands of low-skilled workers from India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, and Kenya migrate voluntarily to Saudi Arabia; some fall into conditions of involuntary servitude, suffering from physical and sexual abuse, non-payment or delayed payment of wages, the withholding of travel documents, restrictions on their freedom of movement and non-consensual contract alterations. The Government of Saudi Arabia does not comply with the minimum standards for the elimination of trafficking and is not making significant efforts to do so. By legitimizing slavery and - by extension - traffic in slaves, Islam elevated those practices to an unassailable moral plain. As a result, in no part of the Muslim world was an ideological challenge ever mounted against slavery. This is a subject that HAS BEEN TABOO AND CONTROVERSIAL ...sooo HOLD ON TO YOUR SEATS! Call to voice Your Opinion On Any of the following statements OR JUST SAY WHAT YOU THINK: SLAVERY IS A STATE OF MIND SLAVERY IS AN INSTITUTION SLAVERY emphasizes the Idea of OWNERSHIP and Control by a MASTER SLAVERY IS A Relationship whereas One Person has absolute power over Another Person and controls His Life, Liberty and Fortune. SLAVERY means being the Property of Another in any Language The ability to convince a Human Being that they are better off as another Persons Property can only result in Self Hatred on one end and A Superiority Complex on the other hand... Spotlight On Slavery- Human Trafficking 347-857-1975 Slavery DOES still Exist... In our special series "Spotlight On", tonight, Spotlight On Slavery, Human Trafficking. Because modern-day slavery and human trafficking assume many forms in the United States and abroad, they are often difficult to detect. These forms include, but are not limited to, forced labor, bonded labor, involuntary domestic servitude, forced child labor, child soldiers, and sex trafficking. Many persons are forced into slavery once they become indebted to traffickers; others, like some domestic workers and children, are held by threats of violence. Enslavement even involves recruiting and abducting children into the military, and exploiting children for prostitution and sex tourism. And here is the fact= THIS IS EVEN GOING ON IN THE UNITED STATES, AND ESPECIALLY MEXICO AND SURROUNDING THE MEXICO AND UNITED STATES BORDERS. TEXAS FIRST IN LINE.
BREAKING TRADITIONS: the handing down of statements, beliefs, legends, customs, information, etc., from generation to generation, especially by word of mouth or by practice: a story that has come down to us by popular tradition. As soon as the Afrikans set foot in american, all AFRIKAN TRADITIONS were lost and replaced with the TRADITIONS of our CAPTORS therefore every tradition(s) that we take part in is a tradition of our SLAVE MASTER,that would make since wouldn't it. Does Slavery exist in side PRISON:Lets take a Closer look at the XVIII Amendment where it talks about SLAVERY: Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction. Section 2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation HOSTED BY Ollie H Perryman and Co-Host Doug Paterson

People such as Mary Church Terrell knew the practice of slavery had not ended. Both of her parents, Robert Reed Church and Louisa Ayers had been slaves. Mary used her education in journalism to bring awareness to the world that people where still held as slaves and that slavery did not end as alleged in 1863 for hundreds of thousands of people in 16 states and 27 counties," said Antoinette Harrell, "Notable people such as Mary Church Terrell, Thurgood Marshall, James Weldon Johnson, and Fannie Lou Hamer knew that slavery did not end." There are criminal elements operating within our Government and in the family court rooms. Why are Children Services administrations allowed to operate with total impunity, with little fear of scrutiny within a Democratic Government? Why are Family Court Justices permitted to hide behind the “confidential law” that’s meant to protect the Children’s best interest? Both administrations are rife with corruption and often abuse its authority at the expense of innocent Men,Women and their Children. Family Court is operated like a plantation; it’s a profit-driven industry, a subtle continuation of institutionalized slavery which violates the 13th amendment against slavery and involuntary servitude. Family Court has been use to “legalize” their racketeering scheme to rubber stamp Children Services State sponsored child abuse/neglect cases to terrorize & subdue underprivileged parents and their children. This is child Abuse of the worst kind, this is a national issue across America. Dr. Richard Gardner, helps abusers still abuse with the help of Judges appointed counsel to the child and child protection agencys such as CPS. The Divas are active in their contributions to a variety of charities each year. One of the organizations elected for 2011 is Stop Child Trafficking Now Child Trafficking is the recruitment, smuggling, transporting, harboring, buying or selling of a child through force, threats, fraud, deception, or coercion for the purposes of exploitation, prostitution, migrant work, sweat shops, domestic servitude, forced labor, bondage, peonage or involuntary servitude. We have identified new avenues that have not been previously considered through the lens of genealogy. Recently we have provided example of records documenting peonage after 1865 surrounding topics such as chain gangs, asylums, orphanages, the circus, and more. These records have revealed that many African Americans where held in a new form of slavery well into the 20th century. To learn more about peonage, please visit www.aboutpeonage.blogspot.com Please join hosts Antoinette Harrell and Robin Foster for this educational discussion.
